Rosetta Stone Inc. (NYSE: RST) has once again been recognized by the Tabby Awards organization for its industry-leading language learning mobile apps. Announced earlier today , the 2017 award-winners represent the best mobile apps for consumers worldwide. Rosetta Stone received two awards in the Education category, one for the best iOS phone app and one for the best Android phone app. The company’s innovative mobile apps have received numerous accolades in recent years for excellence in delivering the most engaging and effective digital language learning experience, most recently from the Mobile UX Awards for the Best Productivity & Utilities app on the iOS platform.

“2018 is going to be an important year for Rosetta Stone and what better way to kick it off than with these two awards,” said Matt Hulett, President of Language, Rosetta Stone. “It’s great to have our team recognized for their hard work and innovation on both the iOS and Android platforms, and we’re excited to continue building upon that success with plans to deliver new features and resources that will delight our learners later this year.”

The 2017 Tabby Award winners were selected based on a combination of quantitative metrics and qualitative factors. The analytical evaluation component focused on app review scores submitted over the course of 2017 to measure user engagement. The qualitative component - benefiting from the Tabby Awards expertise in judging app awards since 2012 - focused on user interface, design, and innovation. An elite field of winners were selected in various categories ranging from Education and Entertainment, to Finance and Health & Fitness, by an international panel of independent app experts.
